WPI Vision as a division of World Precision Instruments received a 2022 Mexico Technology Award in the category of Vision Systems for 3D SPECTASCOPE. This award was announced during a ceremony at Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022 during SMTA Guadalajara in Mexico.
Steve Dunn from WPI Vision said “WPI is honored to receive the award from Mexico EMS for the 3D SpectaSCOPE, which brings a truly novel approach to solving long standing issues in microscopy, especially for the PCB industry.”
This new 3D SPECTASCOPE Enhanced Reality Microscope is designed to bring a new dimension of accuracy and speed to electronic assembly as an inspection throughout the PCBA Industry. Range of new patent-pending technologies of 3D SPECTASCOPE sets a new precedent for workstation throughput systems.
Moving away from the traditional models of using multiple microscopes for SpectaSCOPE is a fully digita as three-dimensional viewer type. It offers a variable working distance with wide panning and large depth of field with self-focusing zoom to help decrease time spent in the assembly, inspection process and increase the accuracy of your circuit board assembly process.
First time 3D SPECTASCOPE has increased return on investment (ROI) by solving some of the problems in the PCB manufacturing. With patent-pending technology, intuitive copyrighted software for the 3D SpectaSCOPE inspection microscope utilizes enhanced reality screen technology with high resolution cameras and optics.
The ergonomic 3D inspection microscope features an incredible working distance of 300 mm, automatic self-focusing system, integrated image capture and true 3-dimensional viewing type. The 3D SpectaSCOPE proviides users to increase throughput while achieving greater accuracy at the highest detail. The system of 3D SpectaSCOPE is optimal for rework, through-hole assembly and inspections, with multiple configurations options.
