Hanwha Techwin Automation Americas is pleased to announce that it received two 2021 GLOBAL Technology Awards in the categories of LED Production Equipment and Placement – High Volume for its HM520h Hybrid LED Mounter. The awards were announced during a ceremony that took place Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021 during productronica in Munich, Germany.
With the HM520h Hybrid LED Mounter, actual productivity is highest among machines of the same class and is optimized to high quality production. The system is equipped with features specific to LED production, including PCB Warpage Correction, Random LED Placement and Flip Check Placement, etc. The HM520h can produce small to large PCBS with a rotary head that allows high-speed, high precision production using the Side View System (SVS).
Optimized LED Production – Ensures optimized production with a minimum number of feeders by applying the rotary head, realizing actual productivity of a Max. of 78,000 (chip) CPH and 65,000 (wafer) CPH.
The machine can use hoof ring wafers and a reel feeder simultaneously. A total of 4 feeder slots are supplied for reel feeders. The built-in reel cutter allows easy management of waste reels. The HM520h allows mixed production of different models by applying the dual lane, and applies 2-step placement to be able to respond to up to 750 mm PCBs. T
