In November 2014 a grand opening of the new FLIR plant in Estonia took place.

The plant is located in Tallinn. It specializes in manufacturing of portable and infrared camera systems for different applications. An up-to-date automatic SMT line was introduced into operation with 3D SPI (Solder Paste Inspection) system and a convection oven with the possibility of soldering in nitrogen environment. The line is provided with South Korean equipment. Supply, set up and start-up of equipment was performed by Korean SMT Solutions company, an official representative of MIRAE, SJ INNO TECH, TSM, MIRTEC companies in the Baltic states and East European countries. FLIR Systems invested 6,2 mln Euro into construction and equipment of the new plant.
